Hey lovely.
I’m Holly.
I’m a therapist, but I’m also someone who knows what it’s like to feel stuck in your own head - overthinking, second-guessing, and not quite knowing what you actually want.
That’s a big part of what led me to this work.
Over the years, I’ve worked with women at different stages of life - but I often find myself drawn to those who feel overwhelmed by their own thoughts, disconnected from themselves, or quietly wondering if they’re getting things wrong.
Not because anything is “wrong” with them -
but because they’ve never really had the space to properly understand themselves.
My role isn’t to give you answers or tell you what to do.
It’s to create a space where you can slow down, make sense of things, and start to trust your own voice again.
I don’t believe therapy has to feel clinical, formal, or full of jargon.
What matters most is creating a space where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself - whether that means talking things through, sitting in silence, laughing, crying, or not quite knowing where to start.
All of you is welcome.
The relationship between you and your therapist is one of the most important parts of therapy.
So finding someone you feel comfortable with really matters.
My work is rooted in person-centred therapy.
In simple terms, that means I don’t see you as something to fix.
Instead, I believe you already have the capacity for growth and understanding within you and therapy is about creating the space for that to unfold.
Rather than giving advice or telling you what to do, I’ll support you to:
• explore your thoughts and feelings
• understand the patterns that might be shaping your experiences
• and gradually build more trust in yourself
Alongside this, I sometimes draw on ideas from other approaches (such as compassion-focused therapy), depending on what feels most helpful for you.
My approach
If you’re someone whose mind rarely switches off -
or you’ve been feeling stuck in overthinking and unsure of yourself…
Therapy can offer a space to slow things down and start making sense of things, together.
A little more about me
Outside of the therapy room, I’m just a normal human who’s still figuring life out too.
I live in Lichfield with my partner, our young son, and our two cats, Hammy and Nigel - family life is busy, sometimes chaotic, and very grounding!
Before becoming a therapist, my career path wasn’t exactly straightforward. I tried lots of different things along the way - from teaching and working in fashion, to living abroad and working in business development. At the time it often felt like I was just “figuring things out”, but looking back, all of those experiences shaped how I understand people now.
Eventually I found my way into counselling and it just clicked in a way nothing else had before.
Outside of work, I’m drawn to slower, quieter things.
I love being in nature, long walks, the sea, and spending time with friends (usually with coffee and cake). I’m also a big fan of interiors, little DIY projects (often unfinished), and anything creative.
I’m very much about balance - matcha and pilates one day, pizza and prosecco the next.
Small, ordinary things are often what help me feel grounded, and they’re something I gently encourage the people I work with to reconnect with too.
I’m naturally quite reflective and curious about how our minds work, but more than anything, I care about creating a space where people feel safe enough to be honest about what’s really going on for them.
And just to say - I don’t have everything figured out either. Therapy isn’t about becoming a perfect version of yourself.
It’s about understanding yourself more deeply, feeling less alone in your thoughts, and slowly learning to trust your own voice again.
