Things I can help you with

You don’t need to have a clear label for what you’re feeling to come to therapy.

Most of the women I work with don’t arrive saying,
“I have X problem and I need Y solution.”

It’s usually more like:

“My mind won’t switch off.”
“I feel a bit lost.”
“I don’t know what I want anymore.”
“Something just feels… off.”

What I WORK WITH

This page isn’t a checklist.

It’s just here to help you recognise yourself in what you’re experiencing,
and to reassure you that whatever you’re carrying, we can explore it together.

  • You might feel like your brain is always “on”.

    Going over conversations.
    Replaying things you’ve said.
Thinking about what you should have done differently.

Even when nothing is obviously wrong, your mind finds something to focus on.

It can feel exhausting - and over time, it can make it hard to trust yourself.

In therapy, we slow things down together.

Not to stop your thoughts completely,
but to understand them, soften them,
and create a bit more space in your mind.

  • Sometimes it’s not one big problem.

It’s more a quiet sense that you don’t feel like yourself anymore.

    You might:
    • feel unsure what you actually want
    • question your decisions constantly
    • feel pulled in different directions
    • compare yourself to others and feel behind

This often comes back to self-trust.

Therapy gives you space to reconnect with yourself -
so your decisions start to feel more like your own again.

  • You might be your own harshest critic.

    Second-guessing yourself.
    Comparing yourself to others.
Feeling like you’re not doing enough, or not enough.

Even when things are going well on the outside,
it doesn’t always feel that way internally.

Together, we explore where these patterns come from —
and begin to shift the relationship you have with yourself.

  • Anxiety doesn’t always look like panic attacks.

    Sometimes it’s quieter than that.

    A constant sense of unease.
    Racing thoughts.
Feeling on edge, or easily overwhelmed.

It can build gradually, until everything starts to feel like a bit too much.

Therapy offers a space to slow things down,
    understand what’s underneath the anxiety,
and respond to yourself with more steadiness and care.

  • Relationships can be one of the biggest sources of both comfort and confusion.

    You might find yourself:
    • overthinking conversations or messages
    • worrying you’ve said the wrong thing
    • feeling unsure where you stand with someone
    • struggling to express what you need
    • noticing patterns that keep repeating
    • navigating a breakup or relationship uncertainty

Sometimes it’s not just about one relationship —
it’s about how you tend to show up in them.

Therapy can help you understand those patterns,
so you feel more secure in yourself
rather than constantly looking for reassurance outside of you.

  • Our hormones can have a huge impact on how we feel — emotionally, mentally, and physically.

    You might notice:
    • your mood shifting across your cycle
    • feeling more anxious or low at certain times
    • feeling like a different version of yourself week to week
    • emotional reactions that feel intense or confusing

This can be especially true for women experiencing PMS, PMDD, or perimenopause.

While therapy isn’t about diagnosing or treating hormonal conditions,
it can help you understand your patterns,
make sense of your emotional responses,
and relate to yourself with more compassion during those shifts.

  • Becoming a mum can shift so much — not just your routine, but your sense of who you are.

You might love your child deeply,
and still feel overwhelmed, lost, or unsure of yourself at times.

    You might notice:
    • your thoughts feel louder or more anxious
    • you’re questioning yourself more than you expected
    • you feel pressure to “get it right”
    • you’ve lost touch with who you were before
    • you’re holding a lot, but don’t always feel supported

Motherhood doesn’t come with a clear roadmap.

Therapy offers a space that’s just for you —
somewhere to think, feel, and make sense of it all
    without judgement or pressure.

  • There are times in life where things change —
but you haven’t quite found your footing in the new version yet.

    This might be:
    • your 20s or early 30s
    • career uncertainty or change
    • relationship shifts
    • becoming a parent
    • questioning what you want from life

These in-between phases can feel surprisingly unsettling.

Therapy can help you navigate that space
without rushing yourself to have all the answers.

You don’t need the “right” reason

You don’t need to tick a box to come to therapy.

If something feels confusing, heavy, overwhelming, or hard to make sense of —
that’s enough.

HOW THERAPY WITH ME WORKS

It starts with understanding

My approach is person-centred, which means I’m not here to fix you.

Instead, we focus on understanding what’s going on - your thoughts, your feelings, and where they come from.

Because often, what feels confusing actually makes a lot more sense when you look a little deeper.

We slow things down

When your mind feels busy, everything can get tangled.

Therapy gives you space to slow things down, so you can notice what’s really going on beneath the surface - and start to hear yourself more clearly.

We make sense of patterns

A lot of what we struggle with isn’t random.

It’s shaped by past experiences and the ways we’ve learned to cope.

Together, we gently explore these patterns - which is often where those “oh…” moments happen.

Understanding creates change

Change doesn’t come from forcing yourself to think differently.

It comes from understanding yourself differently.

Over time, things begin to feel clearer -
and you start to trust yourself again.
